The question of evaluating the place of paper storage media in contemporary life among modern information products and the analysis of the prospects of paper storage media and their uniqueness are undoubtedly timely.

Today the role of paper storage media in the information society changes; the speed of social and economic processes and of perception of information increases. Alongside with the printed word, people use new information telecommunication and electronic technologies.
